i've been away. for a long time. i've sold my old house (condo) and bought a new one. a real house with a driveway and mailbox. i've gotten all my stuff out of storage (packed away for three months). i'm moved in and finally in my OWN space again. upgrades and renovations are coming along rather nicely. slowly, but nicely. the kitchen is really the only room in the house that's "finished." i can now roam the corridors of my space again in my undies or neked if i choose. because i don't have to worry about male eyes seeing (i've been staying with my sister and her fiance while waiting to close on my house). i'm getting cable installed, painting, buying and installing new carpet and tile. i'm receiving mail in my very own mail box. i'm cutting my own grass and making gardening plans for the yard. i'm in absolute "trading spaces" heaven. but NONE of this makes me more elated, thrilled, satisfied, relaxed, overjoyed and at peace than FINALLY being online again! a month without one's own cable connection is like a fish out of water for me. for the last month i've been sans inet connection. for the past few weeks, i've been "borrowing" my neighbor's wireless connection which fades in an out frequently. thank u, unsuspecting neighbor, for your clueless generosity. and now that i'm back online with my own connection, there is only one word that can describe the state i'min right now. bliss.
