after a slightly emotional sunday evening. i woke up monday morning feeling kinda of glum. sir already left for work. i laid in the bed for as long as i could. i pondered calling in sick for work, but i'm going taking friday off. so around 8am, i got out of bed, surveyed my closet to see didn't need to be ironed. washed the face, brushed the teeth combed the hair. gathered my thoughts and went down stairs to scrounge up lunch. and there it was...
a sweet, simple note from sir. he told me he was praying for me. he loved and supported me. he gave me a scripture to read (Matthew 7:7). and at the end of the note, informed me that he made my lunch for me. the sweetest gesture for me was he sensed my struggle with getting up in the mornings and did something to aleviate the stress of gettting out the door. this morning, he did the same thing. i truly sometimes believe i don't deserve this sweet soul God placed in my life. he is such a sweet, loving, kindhearted man. i'm so blessed.
